    1000 miles, 94000 ft climbing, 12 days riding + 2 rest days.

    August 27th to September 11th - Yearly.   (Only 2 spots remain 2012)

Day 10 of the Pyrenees cycling trip ( 2nd rest day ): Rest day in the town of Collioure on the Mediterranean. Pictured above is the port in Collioure, with a 14th century fortress, not the one up on the hill top, but right there next to the boats. This is one tough rest day, too many cafes, restaurants and Gelato ice cream vendors. Ride stats for the day: 0 miles, 0 ft. climbing, and a lot of ice cream.
