Harvest Bike Trip
Chateau de Pitray
Cycling at Chateau de Pitray during the Wine Harvest !
September 14th to September 20th - 2010.
This is how the days will unfold:
- Breakfast will be served from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
- The bike ride will begin at 9:00 am or earlier if the group is energetic. We should be back from our ride between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.
- A lunch will be served upon return from the ride, or the lunch will be at a restaurant along the ride.
- After lunch everyone will have time to relax, read, swim, walk about the property or learn about wine making.
- At about 3:00 pm we will partake in an organized activity, such as wine tasting or a visit to a local historical site, and there is the professional race on August 1st.
- At 8:00 pm we will assemble for cocktails before dinner, and dinner will begin sometime between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm.
After dinner everyone is free to do as they please. Hopefully the day's ride, food and wine have made you exhausted and your only desire at this point is to find your bed...or you can continue to drink Pitray wine on the terrace under the stars!
